On 4th September 2020, the Dutch newspaper NRC Handelsblad published an article on well-preserved shipwrecks in the Baltic Sea region. The reason is the discovery of a seventeenth-century fluyt ship at the entrance to the Finnish Gulf. It lies at a depth of 85 metres. There is a good chance that it is a Dutch merchant ship.

In the article, author Theo Toebosch also mentions the Huis te Warmelo and the archival research for the crew members of the frigate.
